We are interested in the translation of data to knowledge and practice in the social and physical sciences and engineering. Our tools include statistics and mathematics, modeling, machine learning and artificial intelligence, data visualization, and software designed to be user centric. We work with data from traditional sources such as sensors and surveys as well as unstructured sources such as images and documents. We are involved in projects collecting and processing data with mobile and embedded devices including Android and Arduino and are interested in supporting the Maker community.
